People come to therapy for many different reasons.

You may be navigating the impact of a difficult experience, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, adjusting to an ADHD diagnosis, grieving a loss, struggling in a relationship, or moving through a period of significant change. You may also find it difficult to describe exactly what’s wrong, only knowing that life doesn’t feel quite the way it used to.

Whatever has brought you here, therapy provides an opportunity to pause, make sense of your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll consider your goals, your circumstances and the approach that best fits your needs.

Counselling

Sometimes it’s not one thing.

Life doesn’t always become difficult because of one single event. More often, it’s the accumulation of many experiences. Ongoing stress, anxiety, changes in relationships, grief, or a growing sense that something doesn’t feel quite right.

Counselling provides a space to pause, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and better understand the patterns and circumstances that may be contributing to your difficulties. Together, we’ll explore new ways of understanding your experiences and practical ways of responding that feel meaningful and sustainable.

EMDR Therapy

Some experiences don’t stay in the past.

Even when we understand what happened, our minds and bodies don’t always respond as though it’s over. Certain memories, situations or emotions can continue to feel emotionally present long after the event itself has passed.

EMDR therapy helps the brain process distressing experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity, allowing the past to become part of your story without continuing to shape your present.

ADHD-Informed Counselling

ADHD affects much more than attention.

Whether you’ve recently received a diagnosis, have lived with ADHD for many years, or have always felt different without understanding why, ADHD-informed counselling can help make sense of patterns that may have felt confusing for a long time.

Together, we’ll explore both the challenges and strengths associated with ADHD, while developing practical strategies that support everyday life. I also offer ADHD-informed counselling and parent support for families.

Victims Services Counselling

You don’t have to navigate it alone.

If you’ve experienced violent crime, domestic and family violence, sexual assault or another eligible offence, you may be able to access funded counselling through the NSW Victims Support Scheme.

Victims Services counselling is available to eligible adults and young people, both in person and online. As an approved Victims Services counsellor, I’m happy to answer questions about the referral process before your first appointment.

Meaningful change begins with understanding.

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of support you’re looking for before reaching out.

Whether you’re considering counselling, EMDR therapy, ADHD-informed support or funded counselling through Victims Services, we can begin with a conversation about what’s been happening and what you’re hoping will be different.

Together, we’ll decide on the approach that best fits your needs.
